do you need Digitals?

If you are looking to get signed by an agency or easily casted for jobs, yes. Even if you have a portfolio, Digitals are the reason companies feel confident booking you.

why are PROFESSIONAL Digitals so effective?

The industry is aware of the magic a production team can curate. A strong portfolio shows them all what you are capable of but Digitals show them who’s walking through the door at a 5 AM calltime - what to expect without a glam squad, stylist,  studio lighting, and editing.

CAN I TAKE MY OWN DIGI'S?

Absolutely. Agents usually ask for natural light, a solid background, and photos taken on your phone. The reason my Digi's are in demand is because Digitals are my specialty and I know exactly what agents are looking for. My studio set up and process makes the experience quick and easy.

Do I need a digi video?

You dont need one but it is helpful. Agents are able to see how you move and if you have confidence. These videos are as quick as digi's and clipped together as seen on @digisxjasbaeza.

DO YOU SHOOT FOR CASTINGs OR AGENCIES?

Yes, agencies and casting directors book my services while providing personalized request such as 4-6 frames per model to process 80+ models per day.

WHAT TO DO AFTER YOU TAKE DIGI'S

- Research what kind of modeling you'd like to do - Research which agencies you want to apply to - Steadily apply to different agencies and castings - If you have a dream agency and they haven't responded, retake Digital's and reapply every 6-8 months - Refrain from major changes after investing in new Digi's - Sometimes Digi's show you that you want to make changes to your appearance, if you do, retake your Digi's - Apply agent/photographer feedback where you see as sustainably fit - Apply to open castings (after vetting!!!) - Set up trade-for-print test shoots to gain experience and build your portfolio. Have a mood board ready before reaching out, and don't be afraid to ask for rates in the same email. If they're not open to trade, you'll already know what to expect when you're ready for paid tests. - As you gain experience, invest in Photographers who specialize in the type of work you want to book. Beauty, Editorial, E-Commerce, and Lifestyle all require different images. At this point please consider coming to see me for a Portfolio Build or purchasing The Modeling Handbook below for more advice and suggestions.
